Volunteer Resources - Who Should Fostercare?

Foster parents have the potential to save hundreds of lives each year by opening their homes and hearts to help animals of all ages and breeds. The joy of seeing an animal placed into a loving, permanent home, knowing that as a foster parent you have directly made a difference in one animal’s life is extremely rewarding.

Requirements for becoming a foster parent:

• A fostercare application must be filled out
• A foster parent agrees to the following terms and conditions:
• During the stay in a foster home, the foster animal is:
  • fed
  • socialized
  • groomed
  • trained
  • medicated as needed

 

• Foster family provides
  • food
  • time
  • love

 

• The ARK Fostercare covers all medical expenses as long as we approve the veterinarian clinic.
• Qualifications:
  • Foster parents must complete a fostercare application
  • Must be able to transport foster pet to veterinarian, kennel, and adoption events
  • Must be able to provide a safe and loving environment
